We celebrated Grandpa Walker's birthday today! It was suppose to be a surprise party, but that didn't happen. Oh well. Best of intentions. It's ironic, because my Grandpa is notorious for spilling the beans on numerous birthday surprises. Let me give you an example: "Shannon, don't look under the stairs, because your bike is there." or my personal experience, two days before my birthday, "Did your mom get your flute in the mail yet?"
Breakthrough: Used my Water Pik finally! I haven't been able to use it lately for a few reasons. #1, my teeth and gums in near my incisions were sore/tender - the Water Pik can be slightly violent on your gums if you are not careful. Which leads to #2, muscle control wasn't strong enough to hold everything where it needed to be, so it was messier than usual. Doesn't seem like much, but it was a pretty big step for me!
